I was in Newark airport rushing down the concourse to catch a flight when something caught my eye and stopped me in my tracks. A Heineken poster, familiar because I had written the headline a couple of years ago at a desk in Singapore.
Working on Heineken was a copywriter’s dream. Whether it’s brand headlines or product launches or collateral and radio spots for their Green Room Sessions, the creative was expected to be smart.
